Hudson Beach Glass

HBG is located in the historical west end of Beacon, NY. We are a short walk from Dia:Beacon and Metro-North train station. Less than a mile from Route 84, we are easily accessible by car, bus, train. If you are flying to the Hudson Valley, we are just 5 miles from Stewart International Airport.

Directions from New York City’s Grand Central Station:

Take Metro-North’s Hudson Line to Beacon our address is 162 Main Street. A 3 minute cab ride or a short walk is all it takes.

By Car:

From New York City

Take Upper level of George Washington Bridge to Palisades Parkway North. Palisades Parkway North to the end and cross over the Bear Mountain Bridge. Turn left onto 9D and follow north for 16 miles to Beacon. First traffic light (after Fishkill Creek bridge) turn right onto Tioronda Avenue to Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and go not quite a mile thru 2 traffic lights. We are on the right at the corner of Cross Street and Main Street at the bend.

From New Jersey, Points South and I-87

I-87/287 to I-84 (exit 17). I-84 East over the Newburgh-Beacon bridge to Route 9D (exit 11). Right onto Route 9D south for 1 mile to Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street one block, we are on the left at the corner of Cross St.

From Westchester and Points Southeast

I-287 to I-684 (exit 9A). North to I-84 West (exit 9W). I-84 West to Route 9D (exit 11). Left onto Route 9D south for 1 mile to Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street one block, we are on the left at the corner of Cross St.

From the Taconic State Parkway and Points North

South to I-84 West. I-84 West to Route 9D (exit 11). Right onto Route 9D south for 1 mile to Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street one block, we are on the left at the corner of Cross St.

Artist Submissions Policy

Thank you for considering Hudson Beach Gallery to show your work. We are continually searching for unique pieces and look forward to seeing your creations. As HBG has continued to grow, so has the overwhelming number of new artist submissions. We ask that you please follow the guidelines listed below in order to ensure proper consideration. Thank you and good luck!

Submissions by E-mail only to glass@hudsonbeachglass.com

• The subject line must read: SUBMISSION followed by the medium you work in to avoid being marked as spam.
• Include 3-6 clear photos of your work, in JPG format, sized appropriately for onscreen viewing. Message size should not exceed 1 MB. Multiple emails with large files will not be viewed. 
• Links to your website and or Instagram are also acceptable, but please include your background information in the body of your email.

• Please do not add us to your email newsletter lists after submitting your work.

We like to know background information about your work such as:

• How you heard about us
• If you are currently selling in the Hudson Valley (where and for how long) 
• If you are selling your work online, list website(s)
• The retail price of your work and any specific details that pertain to pricing, i.e. framing…
• Best ways and times to contact you if necessary

Please note: Because submissions are handled privately, follow up emails or calls to our store will not be useful to you. You will hear from us if we are interested in showing your work now or at a future date or have further questions about your work. It is impossible, however, for us to talk to each artist. Please understand that we are not able to show all the items we like. Rejections don’t always mean we are not impressed by what you are doing.
